• 1 cinnamon stick
• 200 ml red wine (alternatively: apple juice)
• 6 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
• about 3 tablespoons of sugar
• 2 teaspoons of salt
• 2 sour apples
• 3-4 tablespoons of currant jelly or jam
• 1 teaspoon starch
