Aoyama Jun Born: March 10, 1957, Tokyo, Died: December 3, 2013 He started his professional career right after he graduated from high school. Since 1977 he is active in recording and live drumming for many artists: Sato Hiroshi (backing band), Hi-Fi Set, Sugi Masamichi, Yumi Matsutoya, Square, Prism, to name but a few. During his collaboration with Prism he was introduced to Japan's Top Singer Yamashita Tatsuro and joined him for recordings and as his live drummer. He remains active as a session drummer doing all kinds of recordings and live, for various genres - Pop, Jazz, Rock. He has participated in several thousand projects in the Japanese history of music. They say that "everyone listens to the music of Aoyama Jun".
