Just like rappers in the 80's and 90's "discovered" and sampled cats from the 60's-70's, somewhere in 2015-2025 rappers will discover the gold put out in the 90's, and sample the hell out of it. Once all the hatred, misogyny, materialism and violence are gone, I'll welcome rap back in my head, heart and home. 'Till then, here's the Chubbsta! Had to rework the front, the younger me wasn't so quick with the record button back then!

I like the reference to the cheap gear they used to produce this (casio).. LOL Why does this version sound like it's underwater? I'll try to find a clear version of this video on my old VHS tapes.

Does anybody know what Chubb Rock song these lyrics came from: "The phone rang. I picked up, heard the bang. Son said hello, real loud, with a country twang. And he sounded disgruntled. Heh. He was far from humble. His speech was juvenile, the nature of his words are jumbled."?

Rap has changed so much. A little info on the chubster I think he was a pre-med student who got involved with rap. This guy was nice in academics. Now a days I think a prison rap sheet is a requirement for a record deal. The more ignorant you sound the better.
