In 1995 my daddy and me met chuck berry at the car wash in Slidell he was down for jazz fest. We all had the best conversation. When it was time to go chuck asked me to pick out an air freshener for his 1965 mint condition black caddy. It was so Awsome. RIP CHUCK AND RIP GRANT MOLER JR.( DADDY) wonderful memory. I'm 40 now and I keep it close in my heart.

This was in 72, you realize he'd been popular only about 15 years at this point but was already a legend. He was around 40 then and still rocking hard! Nobody knew how long rockers would go because he was the first of his kind! I think Jagger said if he was still singing at 40 he wanted someone to kill him. Now he's near 70 and yes, still singing. Chuck is 83 now? Still performing! That's how long rockers can keep going!

It's February 2024 now, Chuck has gone but Mick is 80 and still performing and releasing new music. Sadly Charlie Watts also is no more but we have great memories of all these. I'm a couple of years younger than Mick and not so fit but enjoy this great music.

Love Chuck Berry saw him about 12 years ago in Vegas with Little Richie, ( who invited us ) and Jerry Lee Lewis ... had a great evening .. best experience. My Aunt would of thought she’d died & gone to heaven had she been able to see them. But they’ll rock in the hereafter

The True King of R 'n' R. I listened to his original recording of this before I came here... ...and I swear to God, it sounds like he's making the lyrics up on the spot, and they're inspired. For anyone who doubts that "rockin' and rollin' " means "fornicatin', " EXHIBIT A. And (chops aside) with the exception of Buddy Guy, I have never seen a guitar-player for whom his instrument was just another appendage, the way it is for Chuck... ...in fact, when he takes that astonishing split during his solo, you know exactly what appendage it is.
