(European 80s view) This Geissman is such an underrated guitarist, ok, now we have internet and you can educate future guitarists about, actually, whole bunch of maestros. But, when I found about Grant in 80s, in Yugoslavia, we only knew about Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, Robben Ford was not that known, only to LP collectors. but, Grant is a hero here of this video and he is the one! When I bought his "Take Another Look", I was crazy about his nylon string guitar picking. And here, I played video on slower and I caught the notes of the solo. Not big deal, it's mainly F penthatonic, but right hand...oh, man....have to start practicing "right hand". Grant, I love your style...!!!

Chuck Mangione was born in Rochester, New York on November 29, 1940, so he is celebrating his 81st birthday today November 29, 2021. He is an American flugelhorn player, voice actor, trumpeter and composer. He came to prominence as a member of Art Blakey's band in the 1960s. He achieved international success in 1977 with his jazz-pop single "Feels So Good". Mangione has released more than 30 albums since 1960

Absolutely~!~ Used to be able to hear a song like "Feels So Good", and without having to change radio stations,, you'd hear the Beatle's, or some other style(s) of music! The idiots,, and YES they're idiots-Deluxe,, running the radio programming should ~flogged in the fog, with a wet hide from a hog~!~!~!~

as a music lover, I have been a huge fan of both Chuck and brother Gap along with the Rochester boys, whose talents are deserving of the highest praise. Just listen to anything Mangione and enjoy like a fine red.

Chuck is so cool. I really appreciate this group. I was a budding musician in grade school at this time and I dunno if I would have carried on performing all these years if I didn't have inspiration like this. When I hear this I feel like I came home.

So, I was 17 and at a performance at Glen Este, (Ohio), high school, (1971). I will never forget this. I would swear this was recorded there, but the background is wrong. Love, love, love!!!

Chuck Mangione con su flugel horn fue un Pop Star a finales de los 70'... Se convirtió inesperadamente en muy famoso. Nunca estuvo en sus planes. Llevaba tiempo tocando jazz y de la nada escribió esta Feels So Good que se conoció en todo este Rotondo planeta Tierra... Recuerdo que las camisetas de Mangione un tiempo en Estados Unidos se vendían como pan caliente. Ahí se daba con las de Farrah Fawcett y Mick Jagger... Hasta en los 90' Joey de Friends se levantaba por las mañanas, iba a la ventana, abría y cantaba. Y salía un vecino que también cantaba con el "Morning has come, Morning has come, the Morning sun". Pero eso creo fue Neto invento de los libretistas de Friends, Feels So Good nunca ha tenido letra jajanjaaa😂😂... Muy buen guitarrista y en este video en vivo, parece el estilo del mismo que grabó la original en estudio... A Mangione nunca le interesó mantenerse como celebridad, eso fue algo que le ocurrió sin querer... No necesitó vender más camisetas con su imagen o posters, que los que llegó a vender... ❤🎺🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
