Access has this love affair with 'data' so when building a database application you start with 'data'
Data is stored in what are called Tables. Tables are like a bucket that holds information.
Each 'piece' of informaiton needs what's called an 'id' or 'primary key.' This is used to help Access find a record. Imagine it's a file number like in the library. It allows you to find a book by the library number.
