It's ok for Israel to lose support from The West. We were always useless at protecting the Jews. I'm shocked at how no-body talks about the responsibility of Palestinians towards peace. People always focusing on what Israel should do. What about the Palestinians? The Nakba also saw lots of Jews being expelled from Arab countries. Educate yourselves.

Perhaps why people put the spotlight on Israel and its responsibility is because it's in the position of overwhelming power in contrast to the Palestinians. Secondly, despite said power it is the one abusing and oppressing the Palestinians. It's like telling black people in the US during the 60's that they have a responsibility towards civil rest. It's a joke

No jew was expelled from the Arab world most of the jews who fled to Israel they fled in the 70s n 80s after Nakba in like 3 centuries they fled nobody expelled them using militias like Israel did to the Palestinians like I'm from syria and there's still like 10 jews who still live in Damascus but why don't you talk about the Yemeni jews's children who were kidnapped by Israeli militias and they gave them to other Israeli families to take care of them cuz they claim that the arabs are barbaric and uncivilized enough so you're a liar bot

I've listened to him on the "triggernometry" podcast where he expressed his views on Israel. Among other things, he insinuated that Israel was killing Palestinians just for the sake of it while using the fight against hamas as an excuse. Of course, he would also play the numbers game and contrast the 1200 Israelis killed on Oct. 7th with the 35000 *Palestinian civilians* - never mind that this number also includes the Hamas terrorists, needless to say that he doesn't question the credibility of this number put out by Hamas. His distain for the jewish state and for Netanyahu in particular was through the roof. He refused to call hamas a terror organization saying that it depended entirely on the eyes of the beholder, then he went on to talk about how the US will force Israel and the Palestinians to accept a two-state-solution - or rather, how they are going to force Israel to accept a Palestinian state next to it, dedicated to Israels annihilation. I have no idea whatsoever if this guy is credible or not, if he was or still is a CIA agent or not, and I don't care. But if that is the U.S. politics for the middle east, I'm afraid the U.S. is part of the problem in this area.

1. If you're going to say that the number of Palestinians killed (which holds two thirds women and children) includes hamas terrorists, then you should be also championing the premise that the 1200 Israelis killed during oct 7 include IDF soldiers and not innocent civilians 2. Questioning the correctness of the number put out by the Palestinian health authority as "HAMAS Numbers" insinuating that anything to do with hamas = lies and deception even though during previous conflicts the same health authority reported accurate numbers of death rolls according to every UN organization ( I know that the word UN makes you feel uncomfortable, I'm sorry) gives their reporting merit. With the same token you should also be skeptical towards the numbers of the Israelis that have been killed on oct 7 that were put out by the Israeli health authority and the IDF since they are on the other side of the conflict , right? Not mentioning ofcourse that Israel has done nothing but lie and lie about their responsibility and death tolls consistently for decades (think sherine abouakla), it's practically what defines them 3. Having the luxury of calling the RNC a liberation group to fight against oppression in south Africa through violence because you weren't on the other side of the conflict but calling Hamas a terrorist organization because you benefit from the status quo is hypocritical. It's a typical move to call resistance terrorist by the oppresser ( the maw maw movement in Kenya , the Algerians , the south Africans and the Irish were all called terrorists by the British and the french) 4. Hamas repeatedly said they want a Palestinian state on 67 borders as a condition to de arm themselves and that opinion is shared across Palestine , so NO. Having a Palestinian state wouldn't mean sharing borders with people hell bent on your annihilation, that's just a cool story you keep telling yourselves to sleep better at night and justify your atrocities. Matter of fact, the same could be said about Israel wishing the annihilation of Palestine. Countries that neighbor and hate each other exist all over the world map but it's never an argument to deny the other self determination

And yes, everything hamas trots out can be considered a lie. And do you know why? You mention how it didn't start on October 7. What an astute observation. You're even generous enough to grant us our history back a century and a half. What about the rest, friendo? Were there Jews in Israel in the 1700s? What about the 1500s? What about before that? So when modern Zionism came to the fore at the late 19th century, more Jews started to move to Palestine. There was formerly maybe a 5-10% Jewish population in the land. So lemme get this straight -- 5-10% of Palestine being Jewish is acceptable... but more than that is not unacceptable? Oh it's not about the "Jews", it just has to do with who has sovereignty. Get a grip. Look at the history of Hajj Amin Al Hussaini who fervently aligned the Palestinian/Arab cause with that of the Third Reich's. You laughed about people not knowing where Semite comes from. Do you know where it comes from? It's from the word Shem, Noah's son. So why does anti-Semitism mean anti-Jewish hatred vs anti-Arab? Here's an idea... look it up instead of being cutesy on your podcast.

First of all, the modern definition of Semite is a person or group that speaks a Semitic language. It does not define ethnicity, nationality or religion; it is purely a linguistic identity. Your rhetorical questions are a little silly; in modern history, there have always been Jews in Palestine. The Romans did not "expel" the Jews from Palestine; one or as many as two million Jews were killed in the various Jewish-Roman wars, so understandably many Jews fled in fear. But some always remained. 5-10% of Palestine being Jewish was acceptable because that's the way the various immigrations and emigrations to and from Palestine worked out. Is 2.4% of the US population being Jewish acceptable? Looking at it that way, doesn't your question seem ridiculous? The Jewish majority of the Israeli population was achieved by a combination of ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians and illegal immigration of Jews pre-1948; since then, Jewish immigration to Israel has been vigorously encouraged by Zionist organizations. And the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians has continued.

@@darryldunmore5184 wrong and thorough which is a terrible combination. First off, thank you for teaching me about my ethnicity and history - why don’t you leave it to me and the other Jews who do feel that it is an ethnoreligious identity to determine what our own identity is, ‘kay? As for the percentages… you’re not making sense. Jewish sovereignty existed in the land way before any sort of Palestine so it was way more than 2.4% or whatever you’re “allotting” us. Your claims about ethnic cleansing are taken out of context of the entire situation. Context - There’s a word you all like. Jews in the initial aliyot were, in large part, fleeing diasporic persecution: pogroms and the like. They came to Israel not with any sort of goal of displacing the locals - you can take Herzl quotes and bend them to your will if you’d like but that doesn’t change the fact that most of the Jews coming then were not in fact “colonialists”. Then fast forward to November 1947 when the Arabs rejected the UN partition plan (as they’d rejected everything prior as well). They attack the Jews in an effort to - what? “Teach them a lesson”? They were gonna slaughter them and throw them in the sea! You think if the Jews won the war and gave back the UN partitioned Palestine that the Arabs would have been satisfied with that? Of course not, they would have mounted yet ANOTHER attack… hmmm what group does that sound like? I’ll give you a hint - it sounds like “hummus”.

@@benjacobs1027 If you truly want to know and define your ethnicity and know your history, you know that Palestinians Christians and Muslims are more genetically related to the Jews of 2,000 years ago. On what claim, other than religion do you belong there more than they do? Many of you are Jewish by conversion and others. That is African Americans going back to Africa and kick the natives Africans out because they lived there 400 years ago. That is how ridiculous your claim sound. The best thing is to at least give them a state based of 67 borders or the future might NOT be too bright for Israel.
