In india people cook this on steam without any oil in it , they put the tray on pot on stove containing boiling water and cover the tray with plate and let it cook on boiling water till it is cooked. In india they add salt, pepper, turmeric powder, cumin seed powder , coriander seed powder, garlic & ginger paste, mint and green chilly paste. Aren't these spices mouth watering? YUMMMY🌝

My grandma actually makes this in her old cast iron frying pan. Very, very hot! Nice and toasty brown with very fresh cracked (in a mortar n pestle) pepper! XoXoXo

To me that is a lot of water and a lot of flour. I don't thing that glass bowl has that much in it.

Farinata, not infarinata. traditionally is made with olive oil but i suggest to change that to sunflower oil as it has a higher burning point. cooked at high temperature the traditional olive oil is not going to be good for your health. you can add it raw after the Farinata is cooked and still hot on the top of your slice.

Now that looks really good. 2 things 1 how do you get it in the oven without spilling on the floor while moving it 2 have you have sprinkled some nutritional yeast on top for added flavor ? awesome recipe btw ..

Too bad you use oil. It is sooo unhealthy. Many people have learned to cook entirely without it. I love you though. ❤️❤️❤️

You can’t make farinata without olive oil. Olive oil is not at all unhealthy. Like all things in moderation.

Lol not isn't... The only real oil is grapeseed, sesame and avocado oil for high heat and for recipes cold the healthiest ones are coconut oil and olive oil all which are super foods just too much of anything is bad and the oil is very concentrated so you have to limit it but it's 10x better than canola oil or vegetable oil

Actually coconut oil is just an unhealthy fad right now.Avocados are healthy in their natural state as are most foods that are transformed to unhealthy fats by frying.Whoever thought of breaded deep fried avocado or olives should be banned from the healthy sites.

@@maggieschroeder4519 research the benefits of all the oils I listed you'll think differently. Of course anything turned into an oil has it's nutritional value reduced, however these are the healthiest oils you can add into your recipes and besides olive oil and coconut oil, the rest I mentioned are the healthiest for cooking and they do. It change molecular structure like coconut oil or olive oil when cooked, which is why you should not cook with olive or coconut oil

Oils and fats are an essential part of our diet. Without them we cannot absorb fat soluble vitamins. Many health problems, especially cognitive, arise out of people completely cutting out oils and fats from their diet. It is carbohydrates and sugars that are unhealthy and completely unnecessary since our body can make its own carbohydrates
