the quality of your tutorials is honestly almost unbelievably good. I don't know how you manage to produce so much detail in your work but man, it's soooo nice to watch. when you did the animation where the fill light got dialed down is a great example of this! keep it up man. I've been around for a good while now but it's been a while since I've watched a video. will be checking back much more often with these lighting tutorials to use a refresher :)

+DailyDaves Thank you! It takes a lot of work putting all of this together, especially since I am doing it all by myself. It can get frustrating at times, considering I had to re-do the animated part twice since After Effects crashed on me without saving anything the first time. But honestly, all of it is worth it once I see all the feedback the video receives and seeing people pleased with the learning experience. Thank you for watching, I'm happy to you'll be coming back for more :)

Hey dude! Found out about you recently and subscribed! I really dig your style! Especially your animations! Do you make them yourself? If so how! I can see a lot of drawing inspired animation, kind of like the kind you see in Atlantis the lost empire sometimes which I absolutely love. I think it's a style we should preserve! As an aside I'm really looking for sound effects like the ones used when Kida becomes one with the crystal which resemble the animation you use, mostly in your shortcuts video. Any idea what I'm talking about it where I could find some? I'm also a filmmaker and I'm always thinking of new ideas for stories! Hope you're well and keep creating! Love from London!

Really cool video. The ratio between the key and fill (well, lighting in general) definetly is the one thing that helps set the tone of the scene. Oh and btw, what are the requirements to use youtube space? I'm curious :P
@Kriscoart
8 жыл бұрын
+algute100 Very true. That is one of the first things you can do to establish the mood of your shot. As far as the KZitem spaces, there are different tiers based on how many subscribers you have. I think that any KZitemr can have access to the space as far as some social events but you can start using the space for production purposes from 10K subscribers and up but only once per month. You can use the space for 3 production days after 100K subs but I believe you get unlimited time for post. Not entirely sure on the rest of the perks but I think you can find a chart that explains it a lot better than I can. Pretty amazing that KZitem does that for content creators.

So, to get this straight... Back light usually "hides" behind the subject's head creating a halo sort of look? And if it's not placed directly behind the subject's head, it is renamed as "hair light?"
