Concise, well paced and useful content, capably presented and illustrated, Tim. Ten in five - nice! Theme is frequent in other YT channels, but they tend to blend into a “filmic” look by emphasizing color grading, adding grain and softening image. I wonder how many viewers study cinemas. Old joke: I enjoy watching movies - but then I run out of change and lose interest.😊 How would you apply the tips to modern films that make heavy use of CGI, AI, and animation? That might be an entirely different kind of look for street images, no? Cheers!

Hey Paul! Really appreciate the comment and the kind words. I think studying cinema really helps affect my street photography, not just to create ‘cinematic’ images. If I’m honest I love street photography because it’s all about finding the beauty in the ordinary and I think that is entirely missed by CGI, AI and animation, so that doesn’t interest me so much. Definitely interesting though and other street photographers might incorporate those ideas in their work :)

Lovely! Thanks for these suggestions to have in mind when going out to create photos. Curious - do you find it easier to find cinematic scenes at night?

Thanks Michael! Yeah definitely regarding night street shooting for cinematic shots. Hitting a big city at night is the best bet to get those movie like images :)

Definitely relatable to your last video in Gloucester. I've walked those streets a billion and one times, yet what you made of it was so so cool. Particualy from your use of framing!

Thanks so much dude. Yeah Gloucester is certainly a tricky place to photograph for street photography! I always give it my best shot though haha
