I worked in a call center for a while and they always tell you to smile while you are talking (even over the phone) because you always sound more friendly when you smile. You have got speaking with a Smile on your Face Down Pat, Lady! Your food looks great, too!

I had never attempted to make bread or cinnamon rolls until today. My daughter and SIL will go to the ends of the earth for good cinnamon rolls. With Covid, they don't go out much, so I thought I would try to make some. I watched about a dozen videos and finally decided to try this one for our dessert tonight. I was worried they might not turn out so I bought a can of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls for backup. I did not need my backup. Everything went smoothly. My family said they were the best cinnamon rolls they have ever tasted. I goofed on the filling and combined the butter with the cinnamon sugar - so I just spread it all over with a spatula. I rested them for 30 minutes. On the frosting, I added a dash of vanilla. Also, I used milk instead of water - I only needed 2 tbsp. I cooked my rolls for 23 minutes and they were done all the way through. I will definitely make these again and I don't plan to change anything.

Nw here! For the glaze you have butter in recipe but you didn’t put any in yours plus you added vanilla but it’s not listed in the recipe how much vanilla? They look yummy! I make cinnamon rolls with a yellow cake mix no eggs or milk only 5 ingredients cake mix, yeast, flour water and salt for the dough! Yummy too! Glad I found your channel!

When you were making the icing, I thought you said that you were going to decrease the cream cheese and increase the butter. I'm not sure if I misunderstood or maybe didn't hear correctly. Did you say you used 1/2 stick or 1/2 cup of butter, since you were only using 2 ounces of cream cheese? My husband loves cinnamon rolls, so as long as I remember to get some yeast when I go to the store this week, I thought I'd try these. Also, did you say which type of yeast you used (I imagine you did, but I think I keep missing it). Thanks, in advance!

Why did they start using cream cheese in frostings. You have to put it in the fridg and I have no room in my fridg. It is better made with butter and few T of milk and vanilla and actually I like maple flavoring for cinn rolls. Thank you for sharing.

Each to her own. I love cream cheese icing on my cinnamon buns and carrot cake. With out it I feel something is missing. The cream cheese icing takes it to a decadent level. The maple flavouring sounds yummy.
