@@victory8928 nahhh, it's even more apparent when you look at the shading, rough draft, and muddled details seen in her render. It's not the same as the usual art of the game's creative director. But I like your interpretation considering "change" is part of her forte.

I really don’t like them whitewashing the circe and Odysseus story. She turned his crew into pigs, hunted them for sport and then blackmailed him into staying on the island. I recall he even broke down on the shore, begging to be let home after a year.

So you're right about the first half but the crying on the island part was Calypso. They definitely weren't consensual though, like Odysseus was put in a power dynamic and bro was told by Hermes he had to do it to get his men back. Odysseus had women he went to bed with but I think he should count as faithful since his lovers were never consensual on his part

He does have a voiceline about how they met after death and the truth came out in the afterlife, and they parted somewhat amicably.

@@Kobble03Which is wild since in the Odyssey, Odysseus tells Penelope absolutely everything about his trip, even circe and calypso and penelope certainly didn’t mind. Idk how much I like Hades splitting Odysseus and Penelope. It’s a little sad as someone who adores those two together lol

I love it. I hoped it woukd come up. Yep, he stayed a year. And Circe is a goddess, daughter of Helios and Perse. Demeter is her aunt since Demeter, Hera, and Hestia are Helios, Selene, and Eos siblings herw.
