In Celebration of her 100th birthday War Veteran runs away with World's Most Extreme Circus !
The former Land Army Girl celebrated her 100th Birthday at World's Most Extreme Circus which is currently at NEC in Birmingham before heading on tour across the UK.
Annie Duplock, from Leicestershire always dreamed of Running away with the Circus, and at an age of 70 she joined publicity team who would put up posters for traveling circus show.
'it was a great adventure' said Annie ' I got to meet so many interesting people!'
This included Anthony Anderson the current owner and director of Circus Extreme which is housed in Europe’s Largest Touring Circus Big Top.
The show merges modern and contemporary styles with extreme stunts and classic clown escapades and features show-stopping performances including Extreme Motorbike riders!
Annie's Daughter Sandra Mcguckin told Anthony about her mums long life dream of stepping in to the circus ring!
'I have known Annie for 30 years, we used to put up posters together when I first started my career in show business. She is an absolute delight and a great laugh!
I jumped at a chance of giving her a perfect gift for her 100th Birthday' commented Anthony ' and there simply isn't a better place for such special celebration than the stage of Circus Extreme' he continued.
The brave veteran had a great response form the cheering crowd as the Drift Motorbike was zooming past her.
Annie - the shows newest Stuntwoman commented 'It's never too late to follow your dreams, i would like to come back again!'
Circus Extreme is currently performing in NEC Birmingham, B40 1NT until 4th of June before heading on the tour across the UK.
