Thanks for sharing. This is also is a good demo of how tough the cockpit can be as a classroom where you cannot hit "pause" and think a process through before proceeding. Been there, done that.

This was very helpful. Transitioning into this avionics suite in a Cirrus and coming from steam gauges, it is like drinking from a fire hose. Thanks for posting this.

"Pitch plus power equals predictable performance" something I taught all my students--and especially my instrument students. There is a pitch/power combination for every mode of flight.

Just saw this video, and heard 62N in the background on BKV tower, same plane and airport I was learning at earlier this year! What a great flight suite, great instructor, sounds like good learning time.

Your fuel flow going to 0 on the climb and flight scares me. How do you guys fly around so calmly with the Power/Fuel Showing 0!!

Turned out to be a Garmin software issue. As long as the prop is still spinning, it’s OK!

If you have x plane 11 or MSFS2020 you can fly the SR22 and practice all of these procedures and power settings and shoot approaches sir for free ! When I don't go up IRL I use the Sims, it helps out alot, especially when fuel is high..lol Thanks for sharing your experience with the CSIP, is he available??? I am thinking either a 182 or a Cirrus

I just bought a new computer and loaded X-Plane 11. I had the same idea. I loaded the Torquesim Cirrus, but it keeps crashing when trying to load. Any ideas?

Also take a look into Noble Flight sim as it uses Xplane and really brings the full cirrus experience as the panels are exact same as the real plane...
