The last few seconds, where the car levels itself after the driver left...that´s the magic of these cars for me: they seem to be alive. The noises of the hydraulic system is the heartbeat that you always listen to and the movements the car makes when stopping or accelerates...it´s like a living being. When you have not used the car , it slowly settles down. When you start it again it rises like an animal that is ready to work. And they were mostly workhorses.Good ones. I drive my 6th BX(GTI,4HP14) every day to work and believe me I could buy a more expensive car. Why should I? They don´t have this "alive"-factor and I can repair absolutely everything myself on a BX. It´s a big piece of independence, not to be a forced victim of a repair-shop. Nothing new out there has that hydropneumatic feeling AND is reliable like the old GS/A and BX´s. Lack of depreciation included. I never ever lost money on a BX: The opposite is the case:They get more and more sought after, especially if they have been worked over and maintained. Thanks for the video!

This video should be a case study of how to make a driving video; good camera angle, good camera quality, just enough of the car and the driver, good driving skills, and espeially no annoying music. excellent quality driving video sir!

It doesn´t: The spoke of the wheel is supposed to mimik one of the elements of the citroen symbol and therefore is never supposed to be straight when driving straight.

It appears as if the car only has 4 forward gears. Is that correct? I was sure that my fathers GSA Pallas had 5 gears, and I thought that was one of the improvements in the GSA as opposed to the GS' 4.

My father had to GSA's in the early part of the '80s and they both had just 4 forward gears. The first was a Pallas and second was the cheaper Club model.

Nothing wrong. It is supposed to be adjusted to 7 or 8 o´clock, because it should symbolize one side of the Citroen chevron.
