Cool video bud you make it looks easy! I have the same car 14 plate Grand picasso. Started getting a bit more vibration when sat idling. Could it be this or the engine mounts? If so have you ever changed the engine mounts? How many have this car got? Thanks in advance.

so... I have a 2008 c4 grand picasso it has a similar issue but not the same I think. I think i need to change some tensioner too because it makes alot of rattleling noise but I am also having a load squeaking sound when I turn on the a/c at half strength. but it disappears if I max out the a/c. also the same load squeak happens if the a/c is no when I brake or let off gas. or expecially when I reverse. any advice?

Was your car with AC and start/Stop?, Do you have the part numebrs of the upper tensioner and the belt?

Hi, I've got a c4 grand picasso with a ripped belt. I got a 6PK 1020 belt, but after clipping the tensioner, it still won't fit in as it seems the belt is smaller, Do I have to adjust any other stuff before it can fit in. Thanks

Hi thanks for the comment There are a few belts for this model and sizes depend on the following A/C or no A/C Push start or normal start Check you have the right belt as there are a few. The belt should fit nicely with just a bit of tension going over the last pulley (I suggest the leaving the idler to last to slide over it nicely) You wouldn't have to adjust anything only lock the tensioner back and refit the belt Hope you get sorted!

My top tensioner failed and when I took it off the belt is very tight.. its this normal

Not too sure but think you should have some travel on the aux belt when it's on correctly not really tight, I know there's alot of belts for these (with A/C, without A/C, start stop etc different combinations) measure the bekt check it's correct one and orientated around each pulley correctly.

Is this jumping normal ? I have 2.0 hdi with start-stop system and upper tensioner always jumps. No noise, no visible issues....just indicator jumping same like yours. Generator pulley welded due to start-stop system. I heard that issue may be with lower tensioner

I'm not sure to be honest if it is normal or not but replacing the tensioner stopped the noise

Nothing only the loud noise, everything fine Noise gone after new belt and tensioner
