What else did you remove and was it easy to drop out. About to do this job the weekend what joy:)

The airbox and engine cover were already off the car so the only thing i really had to remove was the battery tray. Good luck with it....it was a pain in the ass to get out on jack stands. I also loosened the subframe to lower everything just that little bit more. A lot of the guides say to remove the transmission mounting plate with the thread but i could not for the lif of me get a tool on the 3rd bolt which made it super difficult. Again if you could remove the bolt then it is easy.

Thanks for the advice. All sorted now did it over the weekend. Also opted for a lightweight flywheel from Spoox motorsport feels so much better. @@KnLAutoDetailing

@slats8376 lightened flywheel would be nice. I didn't really want to spend any extra on this car so didn't bother.

Have the same car. Just bought it. Next goal is turbo kit or throttle body kit.

😂 don’t set fire to it…I need a parts VTS ! lol The performance you’ll experience when you get it sorted will be worth it Note: o2 sensors probably will need replacing And the Catalytic Converter is gonna need a really good degreaser soak and scrub up

Thanks for the tip. Will keep an eye on it. Have plenty to replace still so going to try and sort it out first then easy things like o2 sensors will come. Are the factory headers a tubular design? Because this one has some hectic looking headers with a flex join in them

@@KnLAutoDetailing I’m actually putting Gloria on jack stands today and crawling under to prep the cat for removal and I’ll let you know what I see, I do believe it’s 4 in to one from the exhaust manifold is that what you mean? Your video bolstered my confidence with the clutch and axles btw Suppose wrestling that awkwardly placed gearbox looks the toughest bit

@@gmichaelhall uh okay so they are 4 into 1 from factory. Awesome. Yeh wrestling it was a pain. The annoying thing was the gbox mount threaded shaft is supposed to be removed but on our cars the 3rd bolt is covered in a recessed section and but they big washer plate so you can't get a spanner or socket on it
