Hi, i'm trying to repair my pump, how did you remove the back cover? i've tried almost everything... thanks

Make two rectangular metal pieces, sharpen one side at 45 degree to fit between body and outer cover lip and drive them simultaneously (one on each side of the pump) using bolt threads on the front of the pump. It will slowly start to give, not much force is needed.

@@Simple_Classic_Cars thanks, i noticed now that my pump is a little bit different, only one pulley and a bigger fixed body around it, its from a citroen BX . I think that method doesnt work in this pump because the main body is not removable so there is no space to fit any metal pieces

@@Simple_Classic_Cars i have i pump exactly like this kzitem.info/news/bejne/1HqLy32IqmR-pqw and i only need to change the cover o-ring, and i think this guy used a hydraulic press on the main shaft , i dont know if it damages other stuff like bearings.

OldCar Lover Yes it was only 3 cylenders. Is that off an older Citroen with combined power steering and brakes?
