They all look pretty good after the winter rest and great that you could leave them outside so much 👍

I'm surprised that they did so well. I used to keep them inside for 6 months, then it went to 3 months, now 1 month in the winter. Maybe soon only 1 week.

My trees aren't picky eaters, they're happy with whatever I throw at them and 27 pound bags of hollytone is a great price at home Depot.

Winter was unusually mild this year. Normally we have some really cold weather in February.

Hi Sam! After the really severe storm in early January where it got down to 16F-25F for about a week; the temperature basically stayed above freezing, maybe occasionally dipping down to 29-30F in the early morning, but warming up to the 40s during the day. My blood oranges should have lots of dark coloration from all the chilling, in theory.

I live in zone 8a. My plant is one year old meiwa kumquat. There is no new leaf yet. I bought it two months ago. It’s in a well draining potting mix. Do I need to fertilize? Thank u so much!!
