The Painted Utility Box (PUB) project is a partnership initiative with the City of Roswell and Roswell Arts Fund designed to enhance the everyday environment and bring creativity to spaces large and small throughout the City. As part of the four year vision to implement the Public Arts Master Plan, this project includes site-specific installations inspired by the city itself taking into account the input of community partners and a panel of art-loving Roswell residents.
In this interview, learn more about the process from Roswell Arts Fund Program Director Elan Buchen and public arts liaison Councilmember Lee Hills and how the arts are transforming our city for the better, making it an unforgettable destination for residents and visitors alike.
Have you seen any of these incredible pieces when you’re out exploring the city? Let us know in the comments or, better yet, take a picture and tag us so we can see!
