Greetings everyone, today on my channel @HepYolda together with Zozan and Feryal we will visit one of the most famous touristic places of Buenos Aires and the famous Recoleta cemetery worldwide.
Recoleta Cemetery is filled with historically and architecturally significant tombs and monuments, along with many Argentinean famous people. The cemetery contains thousands of tombs built and designed by Buenos Aires' most famous families in the 19th and 20th centuries.
The cemetery is seen not only as a cemetery but also as an open-air museum, due to its architectural style, artwork, and importance in Argentine history. Recoleta Cemetery is one of the richest historical and cultural heritage of Buenos Aires.
There are graves of Turks in the Recoleta Cemetery. However, these graves are very few in number and make up a very small part of the total number of burials in Recoleta Cemetery.
Among the Turkish graves found in the Recoleta Cemetery are those of the Turks who migrated to Buenos Aires, especially during the Ottoman Empire. In addition, some of the Turkish citizens living in Argentina were buried in the Recoleta Cemetery.
However, Turkish graves in the Recoleta Cemetery generally do not have special symbols or motifs identified with Turkish culture, other than tombstones and inscriptions, like graves from other countries.
We are in Buenos Aires, Argentina, sponsored by Fatih Koparan Just English Language Schools (www.justenglishtr.com).
