I met CJ when he was about 16 years old in my hometown of Omaha Nebraska. He was one heck of a player back then too.

He plays in a pool hall 15 minutes from my house. Asked him to play some casual games but he said no 😂

Yes. At 46:55, Charlie DID call the 5-ball in the side pocket (the commentators apparently missed him actually calling it). Using masse' was a definite gamble, but, he did it, and, got rewarded for it.

You need to learn his rhythm...after he shoots a shot, I click the time forward by a mintue or so to see the next shot...then click forward another minute to see the next one...it goes by pretty fast that way. LOL Otherwise, PAINFUL to watch!

I dont mind commentary if they wanna talk about the match and mention updates about other matches. And just shoot the breeze with one another about pool and up coming tournaments, pay outs etc. Talk about the break or share a fun story while we watch ya know. That's great. But dont talk about every single shot. As much as I love Jeremy and a few other guys they all wanna try and guess every-single-shot path to position..really? I mean if it's a tough shot.. if the guy gets out of line or if it's a tricky kick shot or saftey battle then we can talk about that. But just ya know.. not the shoot stop/ one rail to the center etc. I cant listen to that for very long. It's nice to have talk going on in a video about the guys/girls in the booth. A little about themselves, the establishment the tournaments being held at. The results of some of the higher profile matches. Even briefly how the players are feeling. If they're healthy etc. Just dont do the .. oh he or she just has to come out 2 rails. Or top right to get a little angle etc. I can't stand that. Dude.. no viewer is gonna watch these unless they themselves are players. No school kids gonna come home and look up a pool match lol. That kid probably isnt even aware pool exist. The viewers understand what the players need to do. Try basic stuff. Pretty much a short ittle podcast about pool during the match. Not literally shot by shot..we can see what they're shooting. I'm gonna mute that noise. This commentary was pretty good. I enjoyed it. I'm just getting to learn about CJ he has this little youtube 5 -10 minute videos about road stories. Seems like a great guy. A buddy of mine has been taking lessons from him for about a year or so now. I've seen CJ in tournaments but frankly I never thought much of him but I've had some time on my hands this last year and I realise that CJ was not just a solid road player. This guy is world class. I did not know that. Ofcourse I never bothered to ask but I hear the little groupies get excited about him when he shows up. They chime in whenever a big deal shows up ya know. I just didnt realise the guy was a pool champion.. very impressive. And like I said he seems like a good guy. I'm gonna shake his hand next time I see him. We usually have 2 or 3 tournaments a year and hes pretty much always there but 2020 we had a normal , nice tournament in feburary but the the silly little woopty woo virus was smeared in our faces so were forced to acknowledge it. And ofcourse on top of that they closed down the world..trading one problem for another essentially. So I guess that will continue 2021. But Bill Gates loves his vaccines and I hear they're coming with one so..pretty much it comes down to taking a vaccine in or to have our freedom back. Ofcourse damage is done for all the struggling little paycheck to paycheck businesses. But lucky for them they got a 1200 stimulus last year for the loss of their livelihood. And as a tyx again for you sacrifices looks like we will get an additional 600 soon. Wow. Guess I'll go put that on red.. Parlay that a few hundred times you might have a down payment on somethin who knows. Anywho.. next time guys

I played CJ in 86 and I got off the hook because the house man knew who he was I played Charlie in 98 before he was well known we played $20 a game for about 1 hr when I asked him to come off the lemon ,he denied it and I quit him I’ve been around the block a few times. And 6 hrs later he beat the house pro out of $1400. I warned him the kid could play
