Mandy and Claire two exquisite actors, and just wonderful people. As great an actor as Mandy is, he is also a magnificent singer. His start was in Theatre. I've seen him perform live like 4 times, once with Patti Lupone, and I highly recommend it. If you get a chance, see him live in stage. Search on KZitem for some of his performances.

I LOVE both of these Actors. Mandy is SO Multi-Talented...from Fiddler to Homeland, and I was Addicted to Chicago Hope back in the day - he and Adam Arkin, Peter MacNicol and Hector Elizondo and the whole CAST and Writers were Awesome.!! And Claire is so dedicated to the Craft and the Work, and NOT to being a Celebrity. She has taken " The Path Less Trodden" in her Career, taking intelligent, well crafted roles. Kudos.

Mandy Patinkin is one of those rare individuals whose mouth is in sync with his brain so he's able to verbalize what he's thinking. Most of us dont have that talent. Combine that with his passion and he's dangerously talented. But Danes' expressions says it all. They've been quite a team. I love any woman who can handle a Beretta and a Glock. Claire Danes has become America's "it" girl. And I'm sure she would hate that description but if there's a more charming babe, I don't know who it might be.

For someone who was so often accused to be all ego and difficult to work with, Mandy very considerately tries to make sure that Claire gets equal attention in this interview. Maybe working on Homeland, which he says he really loved much more than all other shows he worked on before, has truly changed him

I'm a fan of Claire Danes, although to my shame, I have never watched an episode of Homeland. The reason why is she has the most marvelous facial expressions. She doesn't have to say anything to know exactly what her reaction is, or what she is thinking. Her look of utter contempt being one of her best! Okay, I know, she is an actress and it is her job, but she does it so naturally and with aplomb and I'm sure directors love her. It is a talent, I have no doubt, she will take throughout her career to be a sought after character actress.

I'm pretty sure Claire bowed out after that question to pull an off camera "Shiiieeet". I heard that 😆 Definitely a woman I'd like to have a drink with due to the fact that I can't really sexualize the character Carrie Mathison. Her acting is THAT good.. She's more of a force that typifies the human condition. Weak willed men dislike this series because she's not sexy, she's real. That's not a random jab, I have associates who won't watch Homeland because they believe that they would respond differently to similar situations ("man up" as it were).
