In the previous video about the topic we were over-stating a point and making inaccurate claims about feinting in historical sword fighting, so this is to clarify and correct that, based on historical sources.
There is always a degree of uncertainty in HEMA, since the sources are often ambiguous, and our interpretations need to be tested. Challenging established notions and stirring up discussions is generally a good thing, but in this case I felt the need to withdraw potential misinformation.
