Good video. One worker has a grubby jacket, the other's is spotless- he must be the boss.

Very good indeed. Thanks for the look at the new Stadler Class 93. I do like that green livery, but that's just me! Quite a quiet running locomotive. Nice catch. Keep safe. Cheers!

Good to see the Hairdryer out and about,at last. Like my bro in law said,"It's the only diesel loco that sounds like an electric on both electric & diesel". Our 99's will sound much more meaty. JG.

13:10 I can see some chaffing happening with those crossed hoses. They either need to make the extensions shorter or make hangers from the coupler for them.

I had to do a double take at 4:05. Until the chap came across to uncouple them and it was clear the connection was at about knee height I thought they looked down very close to rail level. Nice clip 👍

Can't believe that there is so much faffing about these days just to uncouple or couple a loco to a train. And those long hoses! As you say, something better needs to be devised.

Looks the part, just needs more practice and it's a cracking addition to the fleet! 🙂

It makes me wonder if we live in the UK anymore. Once a proud (home grown) Rail industry now down the swannee for this foreign garbage.

I think it was aggravated by the type of coaches. The first day (Thusday, which I watched on Railcam) it took them half an hour to find the right jumpers after the first run-round!
@jamess1814

@@ChrissieTrains it wasn't the right jumpers, it was to do with the coupler height, it was the first time it had been hooked up that end.

It's a test run. I think it was running on batteries when it came, it was odd having an electric-sounding loco in Sheffield ;-)
