Mark Lewin is an unsung hero of Professional Wrestling!!!!! He drew money everywhere he went!!!!! As a child growing up in Miami, wrestling was syndicated. I’d watch Memphis, Mid Atlantic, World Class and of course Championship Wrestling from Florida where Mark Lewin was doing his thing with Kevin Sullivan Bob Roop and Sullivan‘s ministry of darkness you talk about classic Mark Lewin sure was…and very innovative!!!!!!!!!

In the northeast, way past his tag champ days, we picked up a show here and a territory there for a while, and with Mark Lewin, Mike Awesome and Austin Idol there was a quality and character that I was hooked on when I got to watched them. Really something else on another level.

"Maniac", The Purple Haze, Nark Lewin was one of those characters that was so convincing that you could easily imagine that he was really like his persona. Such a quiet, soft spoken and intelligent interview.

One of my childhood favorites. Mark has always been a fascinating person. He achieved so much. I enjoyed hearing from Mark you could talk for hours with Mark. I was actually surprised the interviewer didn’t talk more about Kevin Sullivan and his purple haze run, Mark seemed surprised to. It was talked about briefly but cmon the famous video where Sullivan called the Purple Haze from the ocean goes back to when I was a kid glued to the tv, Best wishes to Mark he looks great. Purple Haze👍

Good interview,Mark was loved by all my family. Mid 60's Sydney Australia. There was one question the interviewer asked him why he had not returned to New York to wrestle. There was a match between him and Cowboy Bill Watts which had something to do with it. The New York State Athletic Commission gave Mark a life ban from wrestling in New York again.

Very interesting to see this interview. So much historical background. Mark was big in Australia too. It amazes me to see how well he looks for his age in this fairly recent interview. So true what he said regarding people feeling they thought he was from their town or city. I felt that in my home town of Melbourne Australia as a kid. Very popular down under!
