Did this ever get fixed? I've got the same issue although it's not a mini. Pressurised coolant it's been ongoing for months, back n forth to garages. Unfortunately not able to fix myself, qualified mechanics dont seem to be able to either. Have also had the head gasket done, new bolts etc.. it's been Pressurised still since getting the car back a week ago 😐 I just don't know what to do

I believe in my case the engine's cracked. Will be planning a full engine out rebuild...

are you using a new head gasket every time you put the head back on? only other thing I can think of is a cracked cylinder or coolant galley

The new head gasket has a total running time of maybe 40 minutes; it’s what I initially started with. I’m afraid it’s a cracked cylinder or coolant galley in the engine block too.

@@TheHunterHofman you crush the head gasket during the first torque down, it sort of molds to the voids as you tighten it down, I'd just try a new one to rule it out, not expensive

I’d definitely use a new head gasket every time I torqued up the head. That one will have been compressed a few times now so hopefully it’s as simple as replacing that. Use a good quality composite one over a copper gasket. Keep up the good work!
