Nice review. Very concise. Nice job. If you have any access to ASUS's R&D or sales team, ASUS needs to bring back the ASUS Zenbook S 13 Flip with the 13th-gen or Ryzen7 and keep everything else as is. Convertible laptop at 2.5lbs, same display as 14X, and has MicroSD reader. Would be a travesty if they didn't refresh that laptop. Would love to see a S 13 Flip vs. 14 Flip Comparison vid.

I checked the 14 flip because of your reply but it's AC power and old specs, deal breaker for me. If is not USB C and powerful enough I think makes no sense. My old HP that's is quite good and from 2017 specs is USBC powered already and is so easy to travel with. Old AC brincs I just discard as option. You don't want to travel with that especially when the world uses EU adapter more than US standard.

Asus made a silly mistake on the flip lol why i5 and 512GB? This silly mistake is why lenovo beat them.

Take it with a grain of salt, but I had the same concerns, Asus rep basically told me the ones they had running around in the office had no such problems even after continuous use

Hi there, is the grid visible on the 14X as well? Saw the 14x non-touchscreen at the store and looked fantastic, crystal clear image but I have concerns when deciding to buy the touchscreen one

Did you get the answer to it? Im thinking of buying the flip but heard the 2022 model had horrible graininess due to the touchscreen digitizer. Wanna know if they fixed it in the 2023 model

Short of a dedicated GPU, your best bet for gaming would be getting a laptop with an AMD processor and built in Radeon graphics

this is so so so bad. It literally prevented me from buying ASUS 14 flip oled. It is so obvious in light colour and make the display looks 480p alike due to the patterns. Whatever 2k/4k does not matter anymore having this shitty 480p patterns dots. Whats wrong with the brain of ASUS putting this lousy digitizer compared to other brand?

Asus laptop is so badly build and so low quality laptop. It easily overheating and shut down itself, very annoying. Even you are just running light and simple task like browsing, fan can suddenly running like crazy, and it can just shut down itself. Multiple attempts to contact Asus support also no use, they are not helpful, not competent, seems like only ditching out relevant and useless suggestion. I will never buy Asus products again!

Im willing to bet the cameras and microphones are the exact same in both models. Not only does it look and sound extremely close but for Asus its probably cheapest to order any component in as high a quantity as possible.
