About 7 years ago now, I was lucky enough to pick up a second-hand Starcaster from the 2012 reissues, and it is 100% my go-to guitar, and I'm a complete Strat guy. It's just eminently playable for all kinds of styles.

Great stuff, thank you Eric! Going to work on a couple of these into my (limited) repertoire. An idea for when you get back around to R&D-centered stuff: Elvis Costello's Alison, which has all those great melodic fills. Would be fun to learn them and also see how they fit with the progression (which is interesting in its own right).

Eric, your videos are getting better and better-and they started out awesome! The concepts are fabulous, the production is exquisite and your spirit is inspirational. I am a better player thanks to your videos. But please, if at all possible, put tabs up on the screen that show every single note. In this video, there were parts that would have been a lot easier to understand if there were tabs to show exactly what to play…Otherwise, you are my favorite…well, #2-behind the guy that puts up tabs. ;P

A VERY difficult question asked which 5 albums in my life that shaped my journey in guitar...😉 However...without hesitation, had to start with genre of music rather than album that just has to be named my James Brown period. Danced the night away listening to himms new music and the R&B that made one listen and nove😉👍👍 HAD get a guitar and learn how to play that stuff😁👍👍 Great video Eric...A AND important 😎👍👍 😎✌👍❤🖖
