Claudia is a first-generation graduate and faith-driven servant leader who firmly believes that there is so much strength in vulnerability. She holds a masters degrees in higher ed counseling and has dedicated her career to paying it forward by empowering other first-gens. Through life's greatest challenges, Claudia has turned to prayer and community as a form of healing. After experiencing adversity at different stages in her life, she discovered a deep desire to inspire others by sharing her testimony.
By age 18 Claudia suffered the loss of both parents due to different forms of cancer, and by age 30 she came very close to losing her own life after undergoing an unexpected decline in health. However, it was in the midst of each of these physical and spiritual battles that she felt God's presence the most. Today, she wears her scars proudly, and is eternally grateful to God for giving her the willpower to transform her pain into purpose.
