I’m just happy to find this before my banjo arrives. If it arrives that is, seems to be stuck in the postal system somewhere at the moment. Hope you got out of the mess you got into.

Interesting that tightening the head gives you more bass. I would have thought the opposite would be true.

Definition of a Banjo: An instrument you spend half your playtime tuning, and the other half playing out of tune. Sounded good when you tuned it up to it's best head tension. Does that banjo have a tone ring in it?
