I love this song... and the way Clay sings it..He has a glow about him when he talks about Parker, so happy for him that he is able to have Parker....What a lucky boy he is to have a dad that loves him so much....Love this!!

Great interview. I wonder what was wrong with Whoopi. Maybe she was having gas pains. Ha. As for the song, Clay's version is so beautiful and emotional. I love it.

I like Clay. He seems like a good person. He is well spoken. And he carries himself well. Whether I like his music or not, he sexuality, etc. That's irrelevant to me.

I think that is why he didn't make it in American idol because he is gay that shouldn't matter clay was a very good singer ,alot better than Rueben anyday.

Just revisited this. Clay is such a great guest -- and his performance of Unchained Melody is amazing. No one can sing it any better, IMO. Great job, Clay. His Tour with Ruben (Timeless Tour) was so fun (check out some of the youtube vids). I love his Tried and True CD but my favorite is his 2008 On My Way Here.

It probably hurt his record sales coming out like he did. It's hard for a girl to have romantic feelings toward a male gay guy when he is singing a love song.

Absolutely beautiful version of this gorgeous song! His voice is unmatched! However, could Whoopie have been more COLD? It was SO obvious throughout.

+susanna kingston I think she was embarrassed with the way Clay was questioned about his sexuality and was not going to contribute to the conversation. I also thought it was disgraceful and embarrassing - although Clay handled it beautifully.
