I used to sing with a band back in the 90s. We did What's it to You the first time. I totally forgot about the key change in that one when I decided to do it. It went from the top of my range to screeching at the change. We didn't do that again. That was embarrassing.

When this song first came out I was early to mid 20’s. I had a couple of small kids. I wanted to and needed to work with big dreams of a great job with great pay and spending time when I could with my kids and wife. Now in my late 40’s this song is my life. I don’t need to beg, steal or borrow and I don’t need anything money can buy. It’s all about living and making each day the best I can. My wife, adult kids and grandkids are the most important in my life. I can go back to when I was a kid. A dirt road, skipping rocks and fishing. A great song I think everyone needs to listen to this today.
