changing out the puppy pool water, and watering the lawn July 9th 2024 Tuesday noon time.
Unexpectedly caught some distressful situation drama across the street. The lady was walking with her guy and gave up, threw arms in air, threw her item in her arms down on the sidewalk, started pacing and crying with a look of anguish on her face. The guy was quiet or not disturbed but pentively waiting for the lady to calm down and they walked to the edge of the opposite adjacent street and she sat while he talked. Then after they got up she told him to pick up the bag and then when they got to the spot that she threw her stuff and quit, she told him to throw the bag down, then she got a piece of electronic like a phone out and placed it where it was, and she looked at him to understand what she was telling him.
I have no idea what they were discussing, but at first some scenarios ran through my mind as a child walked the same street 3x and a cop car cruised by while they were sat and standing at the side. Maybe a hawk came down and stole her baby pup and she threw down the pieces that were left. Maybe she broke her phone and it had everything she knew on it and somehow knowing where it fell made a difference. Maybe they got in a wreck and were walking there from the scene and she was at fault. Maybe its the girl in the honda and her man that walked by on Juneteenth and they are a couple and wanted me to realize it or something else. Not really sure, and it didn't really play out for me, as I continued watering the other part of the lawn.
But she looked quite upset like she lost a family heirloom, her rights and priviledges, a small pet, or something else. The guy looked like he was waiting for her to get over it so that they could do whatever it was they were on their way to do but he was trying to look calm about it.
I noticed some new flower blooms on the side of the lawn by the proud USA flag claiming this country to those that don't know, these rights and privileges come with a cost and many protect those rights and liberties and all that pass through here and live here and live under those laws and liberties and freedoms should know that this is the USA, not some other country, not some country of some team you favor in your homeland, but the one you live and breathe and work and raise an American raised family in.
Yep, two floral blooms on the smaller plants lining the white fence line by the other empty rose bush that is thriving. Like a magenta color.
My grandpa had some greenhouses and started his retirement selling plants to funeral homes and grocery stores local to those sites and get well places of those trusting the AMA hospitals and staff to heal their loved ones.
He said if you don't have grass, don't plant new seed or soil but just water it.
In biology they said a little more, like evolution, and wind and birds and other animals carrying seeds and pollen of those plants that want to thrive and plant roots and grow, so if you keep watering it, the soil is healthy and not acidic or overwhelmed with the wrong electrolyte balance then it will grow, the shoots rise up toward the sun to generate glucose from their chlorophyl cells with the use of only sunlight, water, the soil and its minerals, and carbon dioxide. They have stoma on their leaves that let in or close off more to change scopes on sunlight and not to burn them or they drop their leaves to save and conserve energy when sunlight and climate changes occur in 4 season areas.
They have a whole primary and secondary succession and those that are stronger out grow the smaller ones in sunlight, shade it or make it live in the shade, and they dwindle and die out or move to other areas contorsion to grow and catch sunlight. The chlorophyl can take in so much water and should be green, if the leaves are wilting or yellow they can be dying or they could be drowning from hyperosmotic pressure in the leaves, they can open their stoma to sweat or release fluid, but usually they are designed to fall off if they do.
There is runoff from petrols on the sidewalk, trash, high mineral phosphates or sulfites that aren't right for every plant.
It is better to have grass that stays year round and has many roots than corn crops as the Oklahoma dust bowl that rose to many feets of dust to cover whole 2 story homes in early 1900s rural midwest showed the world. You have to have the grass roots rather than crops that die off to hold the dirt down and keep it from making a dust bowl or storm of dirt in the winds. History of the US before 1877 comes to mind.
Get advice from someone who actually knows how to make a compost bin and plant soil appropriate to grow whatever. You can actually put different plants to prevent insects and small mammals and birds from consuming your crops if you plan it right, and use the predator prey models of plants and animals.
