The way I easily clean the diffuser attachment on the bottom is I rub olive oil on it. Just rub olive oil all over it. Then when it's time to clean use soap and water and a soft sponge and it gets it off just fine. I haven't had any problems since I figured out this little hack

I don’t own one yet and I came here to see before I buy one what I would need to know about cleaning it. It seems, however, that by looking at the picture of this one, there are two sets of screws; the one that hold the metal grill in and another set that seems to hold the entire getup to the lid itself. It looks like the first set of screws might just allow you to take off the grill. Without you taking it off, does it look like it would be possible to just remove the grill to allow you to clean it AND the area behind it?
@CitizenPerkins
5 жыл бұрын
@@ArleenDel -- You're right. I just took a look at mine and there are screws holding the "heat shield" in place, but those look like you need a small Allen wrench (or hex key) to get at them. The screws around the outside are Phillips screws. I've just had mine since Christmas and already see where some grease has spattered into that protected area. If I get time to track down my computer tool kit I may try to see if I can get the heat shield to easily come off. My curiosity would normally make me take the lid apart, but the darn thing is so expensive I don't want to risk breaking it. I guess I'll have to wait for one of these KZitem guys to tear down his first. 😎
