Hi there, I am watching from the Netherlands and know what rice is and eat it also but don't know the Japanese way of draining, irrigating, etc of the ricefields. Make a nice informative video please from which I can expand my knowledge. Thank you very much.
If this thing aren't clogging up, I wouldn't watching you. Now that I saw it, I have many thoughts in my head in trying to solve this problems. 1 place lots of big boulders in water intake area, to let the waters to get through only. 2 place several metal fences with holes at the water intake area. 3 have an extra opening to let the stones running out on their own during a heavy storms. 4 build an extra waterway at a higher level for the storm. 4 build a higher wall against the dirt area to prevent the dirt from getting in. 5 put the turning door like blocker at the mouth area for the heavy storm time. Once it all calming down again the spring can push the blocker back open again. I really Hope that this will be some help to you folk. YOU ARE THE MAN FELLA WITH YOUR DIGGING MACHINE.
