Sometimes you can put a hay bail at a right angle to the water flow and it catch the soil and deposit It back in the wash flow line. I know you don't want to move the rocks again but it will help stop the erosion. Your right that is hard work.

Progress as to says!!! It's coming together. Although those canal that runs around your property help keep all the land from flooding. You may end up doing more works, when trying to put culvert pipes or rearrange the land for farm used. Well leave it for the future's. But at the same time it help erosion from continuing.

A job well done Evan! I'm glad I'm not the only one with OCD that the rock pile was an issue! Lol Erosion control was a great repurposing of the concrete! When you dig up the path for the culvert, you might find something there that is preventing the erosion there. It would be interesting to see.

Good repurposing I also use it for water holes that get rutted out... Wouldn't hurt to put concrete on those blocks like get few bags of concrete mix pour on blocks so makes it as a whole cause strong rains can push blocks especially smaller pieces

Concrete blocks = hardcore for building. Your idea is better. Not only do you get to fill in holes, any lime that erodes from the cement just improves the soil.
@frrapp2366

some broken bales in will help (some of the weedy bales) slow down the erosion also. the nice flat concrete i think i would have laid down to drive across the draw on. the good blocks could be placed along the fence as a wind brake till you need them for a project. But your there and im not so its done the way you want it and you know whats best for your farm!!!! great job looking better every day!!

Good use of old materials! -- but nasty, heavy work! I have like eight bags of concrete that are old and have gotten damp. They hardened up a bit here and there and are useless for building anything, so I plan to stack them in a back-fill area and let them harden the rest of the way and add some strength to to the fill. I have some big concrete as well -- very thick -- and plan to drill a few holes in them with the hammer drill and bust them down to size with a sledge like you did.

JudithB There is a certain feeling of accomplishment when I clean up a mess and can reuse leftover stuff. My gardens produce rocks every year and its a job cleaning them out, but the rocks fill holes in the driveway too! I would finish moving the cement blocks to that slap of concrete where you put the gas tank so you can stack it neatly and not have to mow around them! Everyone is in fall cleanup mode before winter arrives it seems! Storms are dropping tree branches all over my place, and I am turning them into firewood. Love your videos and watching the old farm come back to life.
