I can't stand the idiots on youtube that free hand venomous like it's cool. Nothing cool about being stupid or being tagged. And the people that think these guys are brave or have brass balls are just as stupid. I’m currently pretty angry with Chandlers Wildlife,Will Nace and Tyler Nolan over that. I keep hots but they can’t be treated like a python or any docile snake they can hurt or kill you. Respect them and those guys don’t at all and they will pay with their lives eventually.

Also one more question do snakes get aggressive over time because mine was a meanie when I first got it but he’s calmed down now and doesn’t try to attack me and sometimes I’ll even have my hand in it’s tank to move things around and clean it and he’s unfazed by me except when I feed him but I think that’s normal

What do you think about venomoids? I saw a article talking bout a guy in Australia who had done it on the big 5 of aus and it was interesting personally I feel like if a proper vet does it it wouldn't be a terrible thing cause then you could provide better care since you wouldn't have to worry about being envenomated just wondering your thoughts
@OlympusReptiles
5 жыл бұрын
Personally, I don't like venomoids. Why keep something if you want to alter it? It is like keeping a big cat or monkey but pulling it's teeth.
@dobber43
5 жыл бұрын
@@OlympusReptiles yeh I get what you mean. But people still neuter/spay pets and cut their tails and ears so I feel like venomoiding would be the most logical of these procedures
@InthelifeofBenParker
5 жыл бұрын
@@dobber43I agree with Matt. Know what you're getting into and respect the animal for what it is or don't get it. Neutering and spaying are done to control over populating and preventative health issues for some animals. Cutting tails and ears aka docking is generally unnecessary and inhumane unless done by a licensed vet for legitimate reasons. I believe docking is used in dog fighting to keep pups from incurring more injuries but could be wrong. Cats can be declawed but is also widely viewed as unnecessary and inhumane because they don't just remove the claw, but the whole first bone, on every digit. Spaying and neutering is entirely necessary but only for the health of the animal and population. The rest is generally done to benefit their keepers.
@dobber43
5 жыл бұрын
@@InthelifeofBenParker people cut ears and dock tails to look cool same with removing dogs dew claws. Most people neuter dogs to make them more chill and cause they dont want the extra responsibility if they're dog has babies cause then it became more responsibilities. I'm saying I'm still on the fence about venomoiding I was trying to get more reasoning against other then its unnecessary because owning them as pets is unnecessary to begin with
