Yo!! Thanks to this video, I washed my favorite hat and it turned out great! Then I ordered this corduroy hat from your site since it was still available. It came in yesterday and I’m stoked, it fits perfectly! Thanks so much 🤙

Hey! How do you ensure the hat keeps it shape? Great video btw.

Well you always run a risk with vintage items when cleaning them. But this method I wouldn’t use on all hats. If I had one that was worth a lot. I would be more hands on and more careful with a soak. It’s hard if you have a brittle brim.

Do you know if this cap has a cardboard brim or a plastic brim? If it’s cardboard, does it hold up okay to a soak?

This was a cardboard brim or better describe as pressed cardboard.

Any suggestions on how to clean vintage trucker hats with deteriorating foam???

Hi Froggy! I recommend vacuuming out the foam. Give it a wash. Then stuff it with paper towels or newspaper or put it on a small pot. Then give it a good cover with a heavy starch. This will give it back it’s shape and will look better on that melon 🙌🏼

How do you dry your hats?

Hi Ben, I have a vent that I can quickly dry it or hang it on my hat rack. If you think the colors will bleed I recommend a quick dry.
