In 2015 Jeff and his teammate Ollie put on a shooting course up in Michigan. I was 19 at the time and Jeff was very intense and pretty intimidating. As my dad and I were leaving, they turned to me and said they don’t give out compliments often but I did a good job shooting. I doubt he would remember this but best compliment I ever got lol. He seems happier now.

I, an absolute POG, initially started catching all these podcasts out of curiosity. I thought I’d be getting a neat lil peek behind the curtain into team life. But I quickly realized that I don’t even care about about the military stuff they talk about. I keep coming back for the incredible life lessons that so deeply resonate with experiences I’ve had, both in the Army and completely unrelated to military life.

Very thankful for your service and sacrifices, Jeff, and those of your Seal team. Oohrah! 😂My son and daughter currently serve in the Navy as a SeaBee and the Air Force as a Hydraulics Specialist. I'm very proud of them and blessed because of this. Everyday I pray for their safety. Glad you're living in your own identity now. You are YOU. You're not what you do for a living. I had to learn that too and it's harder than it seems. Be blessed.

Heavy podcast from serious warriors. Their is an intensity among the teams that is unparalleled. Consider years of fighting on the battlefield and then attempting to transition to civilian life. I witnessed it when I married a Vietnam Combat Vet that did 2 tours. Very difficult transition and America was not welcoming.😢

I worked with guys in special forces, using data from VO2 Max testing they did at a facility I worked at as a strength coach, and showed them how they could use it within the Thor program. I got to look at Thor as a whole, and was very impressed. Really an approach that has been well thought out, and it utilizing up to date and knowledge of human performance, and applying it to training modern soldiers.

Thank you for the profound conversation and share. The Shaolin continue to have a martial and noble society with strict rules even within the encroaching CCP. There are tribes in Borneo which have had warrior societies for thousands of years enduring the Japanese, British and Islamic govt. However, it is getting more difficult for them to continue with the advent of surveillance tech everywhere.
