The part where you talked about hurting myself to protect myself resonated with me so much- and I don’t think I need it. I’ve never put that feeling into words, what I was doing to myself, and now maybe- definitely- I don’t need to hurt myself to protect myself. It’s okay to feel safe in love, without the need to be hurt. Thank you :)

You’ve saved me. You’ve allowed me to save my self. I was adopted into a family where the children’s aid Society refused my parents because they said they wouldn’t be good parents because of their backgrounds. My father‘s father killed his wife and then killed himself and my father was raised by his grandmother. My mother was raised in a divorced family and was not stable. Before I was three my mother was throwing tea on me and my father beat me bloody to the point they couldn’t take me to the hospital because they couldn’t explain the injuries. Every day of my life my mother would scream at me and call me so I many names.. she said my birth mother was a whore and I would turn into one too… I came out of my room one time after changing from my school clothes in my play clothes and the dog walked up behind me and she told me how disgusting I was… I didn’t know what she was talking about… She said do you have your zipper…And then she looked up the dog and meet… She implied that I did something to the dog…When I was 14 a social worker came over from the children’s aid Society because my parents told him I was the bad child. When I told him I would try and be better he looked at me sympathetically and said do you think we’re here because of you? Because you’re a bad child… I said yes, he said no there’s nothing wrong with you..were here because of your parents. That’s the first time I knew something was wrong. That’s the first time I knew it wasn’t me. But it was too late… I was already moulded into this person who felt unloved… Who felt scared… Who felt like he was never good enough and unworthy of everything. When I went back to look for my birth mother I met with someone from the children’s aid Society and she said oh I heard about you and I said I was that bad… wow...And she said no you weren’t...I’ll never admit this again but you never should’ve been given to those people. I finally believe that social worker that it wasn’t me in the sense of relief started to come over me but then a sense of anger that not only could my parents do this to me but how could the children’s aid Society Aide have done this to me… Knowing. The anger that I carried inside of me, the hurt and the resentment..The physical and emotional scars that I still carry… Left me unrecognizable from who in my soul I knew I really was. This was the first and only thing that has made a difference. The person I live with the other day said to me I’ve never seen you so calm and so happy before what happened? It was the tapping..It was this what he did just now and walked us through… That was the one thing in my life but finally made a difference. And when I told my roommate about it he was amazed at the change in me so quickly. I am 51 years old and spent most of this life… Living with this pain this resentment anger… Thank you for allowing me to reach my soul again and remember who I am inside… But these people buried and almost destroyed.

Thank you so much for your videos, Brad. In my opinion, what you say in your videos is absolutely brilliant. In every video of yours, I think that same thing. I think that the exact things that you say and point out in your tapping videos is precisely what makes them unique among other tapping videos and/or what one may come up with when tapping on one's own...you seem to have really figured out a lot about the reasons why people do the things that they/we do that are not beneficial and rather than just tapping about those things, you share what I consider really wise insight as to some reasons why we might do them. I find that so helpful. Thanks again!

This was so powerful I cried from beginning to end. I realized that this one resentment from my childhood has been the main issue all my life and everything I am now my whole personality has been shaped by it. By clearing it I feel like I will be a whole new person. Since it is a family & childhood issue I feel like it will also help clear ancestral trauma as well. I realized all my goals in life have been unconsciously created to somehow un-do this resentment. And now I'm scared to clear it. Because I think it was Richard Bach's quote that: "Here is a test to find whether your mission on Earth is finished: If you´re alive it isn't". It makes me scared to clear this issue now; because since my life has been all about this issue, was the reason I came to life was to clear it? It might sound stupid but I'm worried that if I clear it I might die because I have cleared all my lessons in life. It is not true, right? I'm still so young and want to live a long life. I guess I want to ask you is it safe to clear an issue this big? Or should I just do some tapping on fear and then continue clearing this issue?
@lobsyook3936
3 жыл бұрын
Actually ever since reading this quote: "Here is a test to find whether your mission on Earth is finished: If you´re alive it isn't" I have been afraid of clearing too many issues and finishing my mission might mean I'm going to die. So it makes me scared of clearing more issues which are probably my missions on earth. So, I would really like to hear your perspective on this quote since you said Richard Bach's books influenced you to actually do more and get into this path. Also, thank you very much for the video.
@tapwithbrad
3 жыл бұрын
I have often used that quote... just shared it recently. :) That doesn't sound stupid at all - it's just the kind of reasoning that the human mind so often comes up with. But I hope you will tap and move past it. I am extremely confident that clearing that issue is not your full mission in life... just one of the things that gets in your way. And our physical selves all have an expiration date, so it's not like you can hang onto that issue to prevent death indefinitely. ;)
@lobsyook3936

@@tapwithbrad Yes, actually I think I might have heard the quote from you too. But I also bought "Illusions" after you recommended it and the quote was written in the back of the book in the version I got. Hi Brad, I read in the book of The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday and the first day practice is: “The chief task in life is simply this: to identify and separate matters so that I can say clearly to myself which are externals not under my control, and which have to do with the choices I actually control. Where then do I look for good and evil? Not to uncontrollable externals, but within myself to the choices that are my own . . .” So is there a Tapping video to establish this?

Thank you Brad. I am struggling with the fact that my BFF (Apparent only to me lol) has not spoken to me for 7 months despite frequent attempts to do so. In fact, in the 6 years that I have know this person, they have ignored me for 2 years. Not a good ratio from my side. It's a bummer because we used to have some amazing times. Watching this EFT session, I understood the hurting one self line. I am quite sure that the only one getting hurt is me and although I am getting much better with loss, I still don't enjoy it. I believe that when I have accepted this person is no longer part of my life, another door will open up. I think that door is ajar but I have my foot on it lol. Thank you, this gave me some great perspective. Also, since this person stopped talking to me, I've put a lot of work into loving myself more and it has all helped. It's time to love me more and some excellent friends will come into my life.

Holy cow Brad, I have not only learned to hold grudges to ‘punish people’, but I was taking this poison to honour the pain of my Mum and brother’s pain from what they went through with my Dad. I have carried guilt about this all my life because I didn’t go through the same abuse my Mum and brother did. I had to resent my Dad cause they did, and then added more resentment on top of that for the disconnection and pain I felt firsthand with him. Today, everything changes! 🥰❤️

Thanks Brad! From Romania. Apply eft on the eyes issues. I solved my problems. I worked it like so: Even thou i don't know consciously why and what I don't want to see in my future I forgive myself, i accept myself, i respect myself, i love myself, i thank myself for this, for not seeing clear experience and i free myself. Even thou i do not trust the future and the univers, that it's going to take care of me, I forgive myself, i accept myself, i respect myself, i love myself, i thank myself for this, for not seeing clear experience and i free myself. Even if I would never release this fear of the future that makes me have eye issues, I forgive myself, i accept myself, i respect myself, i love myself, i thank myself for this, for not seeing clear experience and i free myself. And remember that all cells in the eye regenerate in 24 hours. You need to clear the DNA stored issues, so the new cells regenerate in perfect health .

It looks like the way you’re facing you are using your right hand to tap your left.... can you just do whichever comes more naturally or use your dominant hand? this sequence also seems to follow the same as the anger..... is it kind of all the same or no? same sequence works for any level of resentment/frustration /anger/ rage? ????

Clearing resentment towards humanity, Day 2: Powerful tears, and so much resonating and coming today. AND one of these amazing ‘aha! moments’ is the awareness that this is likely why your ‘Love Everybody’ video is soooo powerful for me; it’s about accepting and forgiving humanity, and choosing to feel and give love instead of feeling and passing around fear (anger and resentment)! 🥰 Your gift with Tapping is absolute magic for my soul, Brad - I love you so much for this 💜
