I interviewed Cliff in 1977 and it was my first interview. Such a cool guy, was very courteous and he made sure he answered my questions because the other journalists were raging hyenas who kept pushing me aside. Oh ... and before I forget his music is fantastic too.

Excellent sound quality. At first I thought someone had dubbed more recent audio onto old film. They must have had a good sound engineer at the TV station that day.

Geweldig om dit te zien en te horen, nu ben ik geintereseerd, was dit in Valkenburg te Limburg, of Zuid Holland?
Can I make another comment here? What'd I Say was the worst song of that time and I had it on 4 top performers records. Including Elvis and Roy Orbison. You gave it your best shot Cliff, but it's still a lousy, nerve- grating song. I wish I had seen you in those days, but hey, I have seen you 4 times in Perth, Australia a few years back. You are still electric. I've just got a case of nostalgia tonight.

I've always wondered why so many artists over the years have sung this song (What'd I Say). It's incredibly boring and monotonous. It's as if you think it's so energetic and dynamic - but - again - it's just tiring and it just keeps going on and on.

Un dear Un, hey! What? That was nasty! I was a fan of Cliff's while I had no time for Elvis. A boyfriend got me into realising Elvis was great TOO. I didn't ever turn my back on Cliff. Surely it's not a crime to be a "true " fan of two incredible guys at the same time. You are probably too young to know that Cliff came on the scene around the same time as Elvis's explosion. Cliff did incredibly well to stay up there with him. Who knows if Elvis would still be going nearing 80. I know.a good thing when I see it, but I also see two good things when I see them. I didn't "pick" just one. And I also go on Elvis sites..

@Ebbenielsen Look at a scopitone of Sylvie Vartan singing her version of Ray Charles' What'd I Say. If that doesn't get the message across, nothing will.
