I am 72 years old now, born 1952, this song was the first pop song I heard from the radio that I really liked. I was really young about 6-7 years old then. Since English is not my native language (I am Thai), I did not understand the lyrics at all, yet the tune, the voice captivated me.

Great song! Takes me back to my childhood. Whoever coined to phrase "the good old days", probably never realized just how true that would be, considering the times that we are living through these days. The young ones Darling, we're the young ones And the young ones Shouldn't be afraid To live, love While the flame is strong For we may not be The young ones very long Tomorrow Why wait until tomorrow 'Coz tomorrow Sometimes never comes So love me There's a song to be sung And the best time Is to sing it while we're young Once in every lifetime Comes a love like this I need you, You need me Oh, my darling, can't you see That young dreams Should be dreams together And young hearts Shouldn't be afraid And some day When the years have flown Darling, then we'll teach The young one of our own Once in every lifetime Comes a love like this I need you, You need me Oh, my darling, can't you see That young dreams Should be dreams together And young hearts Shouldn't be afraid And some day When the years have flown Darling, then we'll teach The young one of our own

Hi Sir Cliff , I want to thank you for this playlist, while I am locked down in my condo in Toronto your songs are keeping me sane by walking my balcony twice a day to your music, learning the words! I am booked to come to see your concert in October at The Royal Albert Hall, so God willing this will happen ! Thank you.

This is a classic, takes us back to the early 60's of when we lived in the City centre of Durban in South Africa.
