It’s pretty crazy to see and even more crazy to experience becoming so comfortable bearing such a large amount of weight on your fingers. As a human, I find human anatomy pretty silly with how strong your bones and muscles in your hands and arms can get

@Fuzzira

In terms of bio mechanics if you trained your toes the same way you did your fingers I think it would be on par with shoes, it just comes down to whether you want to condition and wear and tear your feet vs putting on tight shoes and keeping your feet soft. Realistically when climbing with shoes the only toe that gets any strength is your big toe but if you're always barefoot you could potentially strengthen and improve mobility in all toes. Climbing shoes do have the same downsides as any modern footwear though and if you're really going for performance it's akin to chinese footbinding in how it forces your toes to bend down on themselves. You can of course just wear a looser shoe but typically you lose out on how much force you can apply through your toes, which comes back to why barefoot style could be beneficial, if you properly condition it...
@jonnyskray3000
2 ай бұрын
@Fuzzira that's just wrong. You are trying to compare the dexterity of toes to fingers. You can't "train toes" ffs to do the same thing as fingers. Physiologically, they have much less nerve endings (feel/pain/pressure/temp) to 2 jointed toes without a palm and opposable thumb. Another YT expert
@Fuzzira

@@jonnyskray3000 Which scientific study did you read to find out shoes are 1000x times better than barefeet? But you're of course right, you hold the crown to the truth of this matter, I must defer to your judgment Shoebeta San. Since most everyone adhers to one train of thought, it MUST be the right path! HAI!

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23) Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. (Joel 2:12-13) I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5)
