Agustín Grande, originally from Nealtican, managed to reach the highest peak in Bolivia, an expedition that lasted 4 days, he shared with Puebla Sport News exclusively, his experience on the highest peak in Bolivia.
In his narrative he recalled that he was placed on the summit of the Nevado de Sajama with an altitude of 6542 meters above sea level.
The first day they walked from the Quechuals to the base camp with the help of some mules that helped carry technical equipment, tents, food and everything they needed.
"On the second day we had to walk approximately 5 hours to reach the high camp with an altitude of 5700 meters above sea level, camp right there and climb to the summit at dawn."
A summit that looked difficult to achieve, all the way we had to climb penitentes that forced you to have a good technique with the crampons, the ascent lasted 6 and a half hours and the return to the high camp 6 hours.
From high camp we had to go down to base camp to rest there, and assimilate what we had achieved.
Carry the flag of Mexico in the highest of Bolivia representing Mexico, Puebla and of course Nealtican.
