A1) if the earliest visit is missing- LOCF is not applicable - we may employ some other imputation logic like worst case or best case. A2) For both week 2 and week 3, week 1 result will be used.

The standard naming rules for a variables are considered v7 rules. In certain cases, we may need to allow spaces and other special characters in the names of the variables, in that case we can use validvarname=ANY option. If in the SAS environment where you are working the option is set to ANY, when you try to import any excel files which contains the headers with special characters or spaces, the names of the variables in the imported dataset will contain those characters as is. If we use V7 option, all the special charcters get converted to underscores.

Hi Naresh. If we are using LOCF approach, we will not be able to use any value for the case you mentioned.
