As someone who actually saw the movie, with about 13 others, at the time of its release in the cinema, it heartens me to see that it is now admired. Glad that Rockwell finally won an Oscar for a later performance.

From 4:03 to 8:14 I swear with everything in me The Weather Channel used various versions of this track for their “Local on the 8s” segments and I can’t find any videos of that on here at all. Like I swear this track has always been my favorite, the whole score is incredible hands down - but that part from 4:03 to 8:14 is what I’ve heard on television growing up and I hate that I can’t find anything to back those memories up

they were made by the company as a mere economic convenience so they wouldn't have to train and send someone out every three years which would be too costly. They don't tell the clones that they are clones because they would otherwise have no incentive to work without believing they would be able to go home
