Beautiful area, we're you able to have a campfire?

Yes, we could have since fire restrictions had been lifted - we just didn’t since it was so muddy and wet around our RV that evening.

@HolidayForTwo42 Thank you. We're going to head up to that area this weekend for one last trip this "summer".

Why do you moan and groan about mud, puddles and rain, your rig is plenty big and heavy to get through all of it, just take your time and try not to spin your tires and you are good. Let some air out of your tires for more traction and ease around. Green goblin was designed for mud, if you had the keys, let her rip!

Mud = mess. Nobody wants to relax in a muddy mess.

I don’t think he was moaning and groaning, just providing commentary as it rained and rained. He even said the storm is his favorite sound other than the ocean, and said a couple times how nice it is and it’s the kind of storm you would expect. We typically wait storms out like that too, enjoy it with no rush to get anywhere and no reason to take any risk sliding or dealing with extra work while it’s messy. Happy camping!
