Nice! Love the aircon delete way - without using additional roller. Slow and steady it will become a beast. Clutch and gearbox will have to sweat a bit - waaay more torque.

The Cup setup is a much cleaner way, having the aircon, boost pipes, oil cooler it was just so crammed, a simple service was a pain! Definitely, the gearbox will be on it’s limit, I’ll have to just keep it in mind and be as smooth as possible.

Steffrallye Would you happen to have more info on that? I have PH1 Clio 172 (mechanical throttle) and afaik it is a bit different.

Janis Vaskevics the aircon delete? It’s simply the brackets from a 172/182 cup as they never come with aircon to start here. They bolt straight up without issue once you remove your current setup. You need the brackets (2), the alternator and a non AC belt. Simply bolt it all up, tuck the wiring that’s no longer needed out the way. You have to slight “tweek” the power steering pipes to move it to its new location.

Steffrallye Thank you! Will do this summer. We have real summer for less than a month so no need for aircon.

I would have kept the air con to be honest, but temps are higher here in Hungary in the summer, so it might not be that annoying for you

kronoCSGO yer to be honest we only have a couple of weeks of descent heat so I’ll survive. But it is so nice to have, specially when doing euro trips. But the lack of space and the amount of pipe work was just getting annoying. Was time for it to go.

Clio 172/182 is awfully crammed up in the bonnet. No place for a scewdriver to fall in. But that is what you get for having small car with large engine.

I know it is, I have my own experience with dropping a screwdriver head in the bay of mine, spending an hour looking for it after.
