Carl ditch the clansman charger as they really are hard on your battery. When the army has a dead one they just replace. No so easy to do these days. Buy a mobile scooter charger and use it to charge, a lot easier on the life of the battery. vk2jcc

Carl really enjoyed your video using your older military radio. I enjoy seeing and using older radios either at the home qth or in the field. Also I also enyoyed your mouth watering cooking segment(hi-hi). Another great video, nice job , Carl, and thank you for sharing.

3:30 Clansmans when the battery goes low give a bleeping in the earpiece. If working, you will hear your voice in the earpiece under Tx.

I remember the first time I was volunteered to be the section radio operator, I thought it was mega cool until I started carrying the 320 ( odd choice for a section radio but not something I could change)
